MAPPING THE WORLD – Sinnliche Kunsterfahrungen mit Landkarten und Luftskulpturen
Malerei | Skulptur | Installation

TO CREATE ART AND TALK ABOUT CREATIVITY.

Internationale Ausstellungstätigkeit, prämierte Kunstprojekte und nominierte Gastateliers.

MAPPING THE WORLD – Sensual art experiences with maps and air sculptures Painting | Sculpture | Installation

With MAPPING THE WORLD, international artist Helene Huemer invites visitors to enjoy a unique sensory experience: large-format canvases and transportable air sculptures merge to create a poetic journey through the world.

In the MAP series, Huemer processes terrestrial clay deposits from all over the world, from Linz to the USA, which she brushes onto canvas with high-quality color pigments and the finest porcelain. Each work, stretched on a stretcher frame, is not only visually striking, but also offers a tactile experience of nature—works of art born from the earth itself. They are ideal for living spaces and corporate buildings, where they activate both space and senses in equal measure.

The Air Sculptures, delicate sculptures made of pink tissue paper, have already been exhibited at over 30 international locations – from the Kunstmuseum Linz to Paris‘ 1st arrondissement to the Sophiensäle in Berlin. On the road with her air sculptures, Helene Huemer creates zones of encounter with art in the midst of everyday life: lively, interactive moments between viewers and art.

Helene Huemer lives and works in Linz and organizes project-based exhibitions worldwide. As a keynote speaker, she inspires audiences with topics such as creativity, motivation, and innovation—and lives her passion: LOVE TO CREATE ART AND TALK ABOUT CREATIVITY.
